Cottage Žafran - Fairytale on Velika planina

Cottage Žafran is our newest and at the same time largest cottage on Velika planina. This modern and luxuriously equipped cottage is located in the heart of the unique tourist village and has a view of the highest peak of Velika planina and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Inside the cottage, stone and wood, typical of Velika planina, intertwine. For a comfortable escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, there is a spacious common area with a fireplace and a sofa, a fully equipped kitchen with a large table, five bedrooms, two bathrooms with hot water, underfloor heating and free Wi-Fi. The extremely well equipped and beautiful cottage is a perfect place to explore the beauties of Velika planina and relax in the nature. The cottage can accommodate 20 people and its known as »the most beautiful cottage on Velika planina«.

Equipped kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, refrigerator with a freezer, kitchenware, tea towels and some basic ingredients, such as sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, tea and coffee.

5 bedrooms

The cottage is perfectly set up for families as well as couples or bigger groups. The five separate rooms have 20 beds - three bedrooms with double beds, a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed, a big sleeping room in the attic with three double beds and two single beds. The sofa bed in the living room also sleeps two people. All the beds are equipped with high quality mattresses.

Fireplace and floor heating

The fireplace with a glass door creates a warm and romantic atmosphere. Additional floor heating is installed for your comfort.

Bathroom with shower

The cottage has two bathrooms with a shower, hot water and floor heating.

The second bathroom is available if there are more than 15 people in the cottage.

Terrace
There are deckchairs on the terrace to enjoy the spectacular views.
